New Features and Improvements
This renovation project goes far beyond simple repairs and maintenance. We are implementing numerous upgrades that will significantly enhance the pool experience for all residents while improving efficiency and reducing long-term operating costs. These improvements reflect feedback gathered from community surveys and input sessions held throughout 2025.
Advanced Filtration and Water Quality Systems
The centerpiece of our renovation is the installation of a cutting-edge filtration system that represents the latest in pool water treatment technology. The new system features variable-speed pumps that automatically adjust flow rates based on pool usage and water quality needs, resulting in significant energy savings while maintaining crystal-clear water quality at all times.
Multi-Stage Filtration
Advanced sand and cartridge filtration system removes particles as small as 10 microns for exceptional water clarity
UV Sanitization
Supplemental UV treatment system reduces chemical usage while providing superior disinfection
Automated Monitoring
Real-time water quality sensors continuously monitor pH, chlorine levels, and temperature
The new filtration system also includes an automated chemical dosing system that maintains optimal water chemistry with minimal manual intervention. This ensures consistent water quality while reducing chemical waste and operating costs. The system can be monitored remotely by our pool maintenance team, allowing for proactive maintenance and rapid response to any issues.
Enhanced Accessibility Features
We are committed to ensuring that our community pool is accessible to all residents, regardless of age or physical ability. The renovation includes several significant accessibility improvements that will make the pool facility more welcoming and usable for everyone in our community.
A new ADA-compliant pool lift is being installed at the shallow end of the pool, providing safe and dignified pool access for residents with mobility challenges. The lift features a comfortable, corrosion-resistant seat and smooth operation, allowing users to enter and exit the pool independently or with minimal assistance. Additionally, we are installing a zero-entry ramp at one end of the pool, creating a gradual slope that allows wheelchair users and those with limited mobility to enter the water easily.
The pool deck is being completely rebuilt with slip-resistant, textured concrete that provides excellent traction even when wet. The new deck will feature wider pathways to accommodate wheelchairs and mobility devices, along with designated accessible seating areas with shade structures. All pool furniture will be replaced with new, accessible seating options that include armrests for easier transfers.
Additional Facility Upgrades
Beyond the pool itself, we are making numerous improvements to the surrounding facilities and amenities. The pool house is receiving a complete renovation, including updated changing rooms, new showers with improved water efficiency, and modernized restroom facilities. Energy-efficient LED lighting is being installed throughout the pool area, providing better illumination while reducing electricity consumption by approximately 60% compared to the previous lighting system.
New shade structures are being erected around the pool deck, providing comfortable areas for residents to relax out of direct sunlight. These structures feature durable, weather-resistant fabric canopies that block up to 95% of harmful UV rays. The landscaping around the pool area is also being refreshed with drought-tolerant plants and improved irrigation systems that will reduce water usage while maintaining an attractive, welcoming environment.
Projected Completion Timeline
Based on current progress and weather forecasts, we remain confident in our May 2026 completion target. The renovation is being executed in carefully planned phases to ensure quality workmanship while maintaining an efficient construction schedule. Our project management team conducts weekly progress reviews and coordinates closely with all contractors to address any potential delays proactively.

Project Budget and Funding

This investment represents a significant commitment to maintaining and improving our community amenities for the benefit of all residents.
The project is currently tracking within budget, with no anticipated cost overruns at this time.
